When does fall registration begin?
We have open enrollment which means you can sign up anytime.
Do you provide transportation from the Woburn schools?
We provide transportation from the Altavesta, Clapp/Goodyear, Linscott, Reeves, Shamrock, White and Wyman Schools.
Do you pick up children from the elementary schools on early release days?
Yes. Transportation runs as it would on a regular school day.
Is the After School Club open on snow days?
No, we are closed on snow days and during any other public emergency.
What do I do if my child is home sick and will not be attending the ASC?
Please call (781) 937-7670 by 1:00 p.m. to leave a message.
My child will be absent from school for one week. Do I get a refund of a portion of my tuition?
Payment is based on enrollment, not attendance. However, you are allowed one week of vacation during the school year. Let us know when you would like to take that vacation credit and ¼ of the month’s tuition will be deducted from your bill for that month.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes, a sibling receives a 20% discount.
Do you have a tuition late fee?
Yes, if tuition is not paid by the last day of the month, there is a $15.00 late fee added to you statement.
Is the After School Club open on holidays and during December, February and April vacations?
We are closed on all holidays and the day after Thanksgiving. We offer full day care (7:45–5:45) on the rest of the days during the school vacations, however we reserve the right to close on days that minimum enrollment is not reached.
Are there additional fees for school vacation weeks?
Yes, an additional fee is required for full day care. Please call for more information.
Can my child attend during school vacation weeks if she does not attend during the school week?
Yes, if there is room after our current students have registered.
Do you provide snacks and lunches?
We provide afternoon snacks on school days. On vacation days, we provide morning and afternoon snack. We do not provide lunch unless it is part of a field trip. That information will be on the vacation registration sheet. Please provide a no-cook lunch for your child on vacation days.
I only need care for my child occasionally. Can you do that?
Yes, please read about our Day at a Time program.
When is the After School Club office open?
It is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a two week notice on cancellations and changes in enrollment. You are responsible for the tuition for those 2 weeks.
Can my child use a cell phone at the ASC?
We do not permit cell phones. If you need to get in touch with your child or your child needs to call you, our office phone is available.
What if I am late picking up my child?
We charge $1 per minute after 6:00 p.m.
FAQ’s for Summer
When does summer registration begin?
ASC summer registration begins in March.
Do you offer a sibling discount or any other discounts?
Yes, we offer a 20% discount for your second child. We also offer a discount for payment in full.
When are payment and registration due?
A $35 registration fee and a deposit of $10 per day are due with registration. Families are encouraged to register as soon as possible in order to reserve their spot and take advantage of the payment in full discount.
What if I need to drop or switch days?
You must give THREE WEEKS’ notice if your plans change and your child does not need care. With 3 weeks’ notice, you will be refunded all but the registration fee and the $10 per day deposit. Without 3 weeks’ notice, you will be billed for the entire tuition.
Can I add days?
Yes, extra days may be added when space is available.
What does my child need to bring each day?
Children should bring the following items each day: a drink and a no-cook lunch, bathing suit, towel, flip flops, change of clothes, and closed toe shoes. Please label all items with your child’s name. On field trip days, please wear an ASC t-shirt.
